Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

At AudioCleanAI, we believe that privacy is a fundamental right. Our tinnitus relief tools are designed with privacy as a core principle — we collect no personal data, require no user accounts, and process everything locally in your browser.

This Privacy Policy explains what we do (and don't do) with your information when you use audiocleanai.com.

Information We Don't Collect

AudioCleanAI is built on a zero-knowledge architecture. We do not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
  • User account credentials or login data
  • Audio preferences, tinnitus frequencies, or therapy settings
  • Usage behavior, session duration, or interaction patterns
  • Device identifiers, fingerprints, or tracking tokens
  • Location data or IP addresses (except as noted below)

Because we don't collect personal data, there is nothing to sell, share, or monetize.

How AudioCleanAI Works

All sound generation happens client-side in your browser using the Web Audio API. When you:

  • Run a frequency test — the tones are generated locally and never sent to our servers
  • Create sound therapy — noise generation and filtering occur entirely in your browser
  • Use the sound mixer — audio mixing and playback are processed client-side
  • Set a sleep timer — timing functions run locally on your device

Our servers deliver the web application code to your browser. After that, all audio processing happens on your device.

Local Storage and Cookies

AudioCleanAI uses browser local storage to save your preferences, such as:

  • Your identified tinnitus frequency
  • Sound therapy settings and volume levels
  • Sleep timer duration preferences
  • Sound mixer track configurations

This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can clear this data at any time by:

  • Using your browser's "Clear browsing data" function
  • Clearing site-specific storage in browser settings
  • Using incognito/private browsing mode (data is cleared when you close the window)

We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. Any cookies used are strictly necessary for basic site functionality.

Third-Party Services

AudioCleanAI does not integrate with:

  • Analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
  • Advertising networks or ad trackers
  • Social media tracking pixels
  • Heat mapping or session recording tools
  • Third-party data brokers

We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service that provides aggregate, anonymized traffic statistics (page views, geographic region) without tracking individual users or storing personal data.

Blog and Web Server Logs

Our blog may generate standard web server logs for security and operational purposes. These logs may include:

  • IP address (anonymized after 7 days)
  • User agent string (browser type and version)
  • Timestamp of request
  • Page requested

These logs are used solely for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and server diagnostics. They are not used for marketing, user profiling, or behavioral analysis.

GDPR Compliance

AudioCleanAI is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because we do not collect personal data:

  • There is no personal data to export under the right to data portability
  • There is no personal data to delete under the right to erasure
  • There is no personal data processing requiring explicit consent
  • There is no profiling or automated decision-making based on personal data

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your privacy rights have been violated.

Children's Privacy

AudioCleanAI does not knowingly target or collect information from children under the age of 13. Our tools are designed for general use by adults experiencing tinnitus. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will take steps to delete such information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
